Young Jedi Adventures is the new animated series for a young audience

Friday, during the Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Lucasfilm officially announced Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventuresa new animated series that will be set during the new era of the High Republic, set centuries before the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will follow a group of Younglings as they study the ways of the Force and become Jedi, and learn “compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience and friendship“. While a release date has yet to be announced, it has been revealed that the series will debut in the spring of 2023 on both Disney + and the Disney Junior cable channel.

Set during the era of the High Republic, the original series follows young people as they study the ways of the Force and become Jedi: compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience and friendship. Young Jedi Adventures will arrive on Disney + and Disney Junior in the spring of 2023.

During the announcement of the series on the occasion of the Star Wars Celebrationthe creative team revealed that Yoda, whose early years began to be told through the material of the era of the High Republic, will make an appearance in the series. This series centers on a group of younglings who have grown up in the Jedi temple on Coruscant all their lives. Master Yoda realizes that the time has come for them to get some real life experience in the field, putting into practice what they have done in their lessons. He then sends them to several outpost temples in the Outer Rim and, together, they go on an adventure saving and helping other people.

This will be the second Star Wars television series set during the High Republic era, in addition to the live action series Star Wars: The Acolyte recently announced, which it will be set in the last days of this historical period.
