Service Xbox Game Pass is on everyone’s lips, for better or for worse. Now we hear a developer thanking Microsoft for the opportunity represented by its catalog, now an analyst who underlines the non-sustainability of the service offer.

What no one can deny and which can be taken as an objective fact, however, is the amount of new proposals that Xbox Game Pass brings to the homes of its millions of subscribers every month. Then we want to underline the lack of triple A experiences and games first-party it’s another problem, but for those who appreciate the game in the broadest sense, indie titles are also a considerable advantage.
Apparently, the 2023 it will continue along the same path as the year which is about to come to an end. Not only that, but in addition to the huge amount of titles that we will see added to the catalog, some already announced and others to be discovered, we will be able to rely on an interesting list of first-party games capable of silencing the worst gossips.
Making a quick calculation, the 2023 of Xbox (and therefore of Game Pass, given the close interconnection between the two areas) could reserve at least one major first-party game for each quarter. That’s not all, because as we said the triple A and first-party represent only a small part of the proposal of the subscription service from Microsoft. So 2023 will bring a host of potential indie gems including Atomic Heart, Amnesia: The Bunker, STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, Lies of P, Hollow Knight Silksong, ARK 2 and The Last Case of Benedict Fox. For those who appreciate indies there is something to lick your mustache.
Going even further we can list a list of JRPGs and Japanese games in general that tickle the niche of fans of these experiences. Here then is a year that will bring us Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, Monster Hunter Rise, Wo Long: Fallen DynastyNi no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom and more.
These lists do not take into account surprises that will be revealed month by month, such as the one from the recent one LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. If the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard were to go through, the horizons would expand exponentially. Even in the absence of a catalog with Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot and close relatives, however, it is now proven that Xbox Game Pass will not leave its subscribers without titles to try.
