The best Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin cheats for Nintendo Switch
Have you ever gone back to an RPG after finishing it and completely breaking it, either with a New Game Plus or cheats? I like to call them ‘revenge races’, because I completely beat all the bosses that gave me a hard time the first time. Of course, that’s assuming you’ve played the game once before. If you try to cheat early on, you may find it more difficult. Along the same lines, what are the best cheats for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin on Nintendo Switch?

Unfortunately there isn’t better cheating in Monster Hunter Stories 2 because there is no cheating. There are no external means of influencing or manipulating the game except through the use of a third party cheat engine. Of course, since Monster Hunter Stories 2 has a significant online component, using a cheat engine will most likely prohibit it, assuming you don’t inadvertently break the game first.

Still, unless you’re looking for revenge after a first game, there’s not much point in trying to cheat in this game. You can do things like fly around the world just by getting a flying mount, and most encounters can be handled easily as long as you remember the game’s rock-paper-scissors-style strength and weakness system. As a reminder, this system works like this:
- power beat technique
- Technique beats speed
- Speed beats power
As long as you employ Monsties that have attack type superiority over their enemies and have done your due diligence to level them up, the game should be simple enough that cheating isn’t necessary. If you absolutely must cheat with a cheat engine, know that you do so at your own risk.
