Wild Hearts: First May update with new Kemono variant

Koei Tecmo remains true to the chosen direction and regularly delivers free new content updates for the Monster Hunter competitor Wild Hearts. The first update in May is now available for download.

Together with EA Originals, Koei Tecmo has now released the first free content update in the current month of May for the hunting game Wild Hearts on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (EA App, Steam, Epic Games Store); another such update is likely to follow in the course of the month in order to continuously provide the players with new content.

First of all, this first May update introduces a new variant of Kemono: the all-powerful Cedar Scourge with its myriad Celestial Threads. This new beast spreads resin and pollen with its sneeze attacks. After a successful battle, you will be rewarded with new weapons, an armor set, and a special ornament made from the monster’s materials. After completing the main story quests, you will unlock the necessary side quest, Overpowered Amber Villain.

The update also includes a new challenge quest that requires you to face the Kemono with specific gear to test weapon types and earn rewards that allow you to take down targets faster.

In addition, with the system called “Limit Break”, it is now possible to increase the attribute strength and resistance of weapons and armor. In addition, weapons can now be given a third ability, and major system performance improvements and bug fixes have been implemented to enhance the overall gameplay experience.

Wild Hearts – This is in the “Deadly Blossoms” update

Wild Hearts’ biggest update to date arrives on April 6, 2023. Deadly Blossoms introduces a whole new breed of kemono, along with new karakuri, weapons, and armor.
