Warzone 2 map and Modern Warfare 2 DMZ map revealed by a leak
Lots of leaks and rumors about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 have been circulating for the past two weeks and detailed the new mechanics for Warzone 2the classic Modern Warfare 2 maps that arrive as POI and the market of DMZ with tradable items. Now after the leaker TheMW2Ghost showed a portion of the map that will reportedly be shared between Warzone 2 and the DMZ inspired by Escape from TarkovTom Henderson recreated the complete map.
Instead of showing an in-game image of what they claim to be the Warzone 2 DMZ and map, Tom Henderson revealed “what the official Warzone 2 map currently looks like by drawing”. In this drawing published on Try Hard Guideswe can see that the map is set to be on the coast similar to Verdansk, with areas that may require swimming mechanics that Henderson had previously discovered. Although this drawing does not reveal the dimensions of the map, Henderson stated that “it looks bigger than that of Verdansk and Calderaespecially considering whether the grid reference is accurate “.

Henderson he also marked the portion of the map that TheMW2Ghost had shown earlier. Their map didn’t provide much detail, but it does show what appear to be roads or train tracks passing through the map. Additionally, there is a large river running through the center of the map, with a lake on the eastern side.
There are some icons on the drawing of TheMW2Ghost, of which however we do not know the meaning. The blocks could indicate strongholds that, as the YouTuber claimed NerosCinema And Hendersonwill allow players to get their loadouts, but there is no guarantee on that.
Previous leaks have indicated that this map will be located in Central America, taking inspiration from Medellínin Colombia, but the recreation still does not confirm any of this. Obviously, this is just a rumor for now, so there is no guarantee this is what the map looks like Warzone 2 or the map of the DMZ from Modern Warfare 2. We therefore await confirmation or denial from Activision And Infinity Ward.
