The return of Splinter Cell (the original Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell is of 2002a classic stealth game with a plot dedicated to espionage) through a remake and not a whole new chapter was announced to us by Ubisoft almost a year ago (if you are interested, we talked about it here). Today we know something more of history that we will live when the game comes out: it will be a version updated and modern of the original. The news came through PSU, who spotted a document belonging to a screenwriter working on the remake at the Ubisoft studio in Toronto. The information you read They are the following: “Using the first Splinter Cell game as a basis, we are rewriting and updating the story for a modern audience. We want to keep the spirit and themes of the original game as we explore our characters and the world to make them more authentic and believable. As a writer for Ubisoft Toronto, you will join the Narrative team and help create a cohesive and compelling narrative experience for a new audience of Splinter Cell fans. ” We await news (for now nothing has been revealed) on the release date and platforms on which the remake will arrive.
