The new Ryzen 7000 CPUs based on Zen 4 architecture presented at Computex 2022

With the start of Computex 2022 in Taipei, we can officially kick off the season of summer events involving hardware and video games that we will see in the coming months. To inaugurate it all was AMD with the presentation of the Ryzen 7000 CPUsbased on the new Zen 4 architecture.

Unfortunately, even for this year most of the events will remain exclusively digital. With E3 2022 having been completely canceled, leaving publishers the full power to organize themselves as they like. There will be the Summer Game Fest 2022 insteadled by Geoff Keighley.

With the presentation of AMD at Computex 2022 we can also welcome what will be the hardware that we will be able to exploit in the next PCs. For the occasion the new AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs were presented based on Zen 4 architecture, and which will be the basis of the future ecosystem of the American manufacturer.

With this new series of processors, a major leap forward is made that will also affect future generations of CPUs. In fact, AMD has decided to leave the AM4 socket behind and launch socket AM5 which will allow to overcome the current limits and allow the development of processors for the next few years. With the new socket, of course, a new chipset will also arrive, the X670, which will allow you to take full advantage of the new CPUs.

But let’s find out more about what they have to offer. AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors they will be based on Zen 4 architecture made with a 5nm production process. This makes it possible to make consumption and temperatures more efficient, allowing you to offer clock rates above 5GHz.

The new processors will thus be able to offer the 15% more performance on the single processwill allow you to support DDR 5 RAM and PCIe 5.0 devices. In fact, making these processors also an investment with a view to a future hardware upgrade.

The socket change was necessary to favor and not limit the future development of AMD Ryzen processors. In fact, the AM4 socket has been in use for over five years and has allowed the development of five different CPU architectures.

During the event that you can recover in full at the end of the article, it was shown how the new processors are able to offer top-of-the-range gaming experiences thanks to clock rates of 5.5GHz.

At the moment, the various models of the AMD Ryzen 7000 processors have not yet been revealed and shown in detail. More details on the processors and the launch window will be revealed in the coming months.
