the new film Suzume no Tojimari will be released in theaters around the world by Crunchyroll




Crunchyroll announced that will bring Suzume no Tojimare to cinemas around the worldor starting in 2023. The film will arrive in Japanese cinemas in November 2022. The film is the work of Makoto Shinkai, former author of Your Name and Weathering With You.

What is Suzume no Tojimari talking about? The synopsis of the film tells us that we will find out the story of Suzume, a 17-year-old girl who lives in Kyushu, a quiet Japanese town. One day by chance she meets an unknown traveler who tells her that he is looking for a mysterious door. Intrigued, Suzume decides to follow him. It will be she who will discover this strange portal in the mountains. According to legend, there are many of these gates scattered throughout Japan connected to each other. Closing one could lead to unexpected and fatal consequences.

Makoto Shinkai commented on his latest work. “We need to think about how to close some doors that we have left open. I gave Suzume the responsibility of closing some of those doors on her journey across Japan. I hope this film will leave the audience with big smiles and a lot of excitement when they leave the cinema“.

Crunchyroll, already this year, has decided to give us Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes, the new film that continues the story created by Akira Toriyama will soon arrive in Italian cinemas.
