With a launch trailer published on Youtube, Elf Games wanted to remind you that Children of Silentown is officially available on PC and Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4 and PS5 consoles. Within the movie there are also parts of the gameplay of the game.
Children of Silentown is a point-and-click adventure that tells the mysterious story of Lucy, a little girl who lives with her parents in a village full of strict rules. In this place it is not possible to go around the streets after the sun goes down. It is also not allowed to scream and leave your inhabited area. Anyone who does not follow these rules will disappear forever without having the opportunity to return. For this reason, Lucy keeps abiding by every rule until dramatic events make her curious to investigate the secrets she hides in the forest.
The title, developed by the Italian studio Elf Games, is a 2D whose designs are loosely inspired by Coraline, the animated film directed by Henry Selnick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) on the subject of Neil Gailman. The illustrations bear the signature of Fraffrog. The characters recall children’s illustrated books: in fact, they have large heads and thin bodies.
