The King of Fighters XV: Cross-Play and New Character Coming

The current fight game The King of Fighters XV will soon be enriched by an important feature, because the long-awaited cross-play will be launched soon.

As SNK officially confirmed today, The King of Fighters XV brawler is finally getting the long-awaited cross-play feature. Accordingly, from June 20th next week, battles between players on different platforms will be possible. Gamers on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Windows 10, Steam and the Epic Games Store can then compete against each other.

On the same day there is more good news for the owners of the game, because with Goenitz a free DLC character will also be introduced to the title on June 20th. This is the infamous final boss of the third KoF game, The King of Fighters ’96.

As the last of the Four Sky Kings of Orochi, he dedicated his entire life to the service of his dark leader. His dignified clergyman’s attire and courteous demeanor make him appear gentle at first glance, but behind the mask hides a heartless monster that has no qualms inflicting pain and torment on his opponents. Goenitz is spoken by Susumu Akagi in Japanese.

Goenitz will also be part of the Boss Challenge mode, where you can race against him in a hell of a gauntlet. Whoever emerges victorious will receive a special costume, background music and other rewards.
