the game would be ready for release, according to a developer!

Pokemon Detective Pikachu 2 would be close to release on Nintendo Switchaccording to a developer of Creatures Inc. After the game was announced in 2019, however, nothing was known except that it was still in development in February.

To reveal some more details about the title, it was Creatures Inc Senior Programmer Jonathan Murphy stating that the game’s release wouldn’t be far off. Murphy also revealed that he has been working on a new project, not yet announced.

Detective Pikachu 2 doesn’t have a release date yet but, after skipping the latest Nintendo Direct, it does not seem possible to arrive by the end of this 2022. Detective Pikachu was first released in 2016 on the Japanese Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS under the name of Great Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Duo while in 2018 it was distributed – also in physical edition – all over the world.

So according to Murphy’s words, a new announcement on the game shouldn’t be too far off, quite the contrary. At the moment, however, we just have to wait to find out more in the coming months. Furthermore, it would appear that The Pokémon Company would have taken the developers of Pocket Monster Reissue to court for copying Pikachu, Ash, and other characters.

What is certain is that soon we will be able to return to the Pokémon world with Scarlet and Violet. The two games will arrive on November 18, 2022. You can pre-order both versions on Amazon. In recent days, a special edition Nintendo Switch OLED has also been unveiled. This is also available on Amazon.
