Disney has unveiled the new Star Wars Andor teaser trailer, new TV series that will join the already huge television universe of the fantasy saga created by George Lucas. The TV series, focused on the character of Cassian Andor, is expected on Disney + on August 31, 2022. Cassian Andor, for those unfamiliar with him, is a character who has already appeared in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Cassian Andor is a true hero of the star wars. He is in fact an Officer of the Rebel Alliance who, together with Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Orson Krennic and all the other heroes of Rogue One, have contributed to the stealing of the plans of the Death Star. Plans that later, in Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope, would have been of vital importance.
As with Rogue One, here too the character will be played by the Mexican actor Diego Luna. Star Wars Andor will focus, this time, on the genesis of Cassian. It will be set five years earlier and will focus on the relationship that will bind Mon Mothma and the rebel captain. The TV series will consist of 12 episodes.
Meanwhile, we remind you that Obi-Wan Kenobi is available starting todayTV series set between Episode 3 and Episode 4 and which, as you can guess, will focus on Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker, now Darth Vader. Ewan McGregor takes on the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in a live-action after almost 2 decades, and and will be reconciled with the good Hayden Christensen, as much criticized at the time as well liked now in the role of Darth Vader.
Additionally, Disney has unveiled the release date of season 3 of The Mandalorian and, in the meantime, the filming of Ahsoka’s TV series proceeds.
