“the biggest edition ever”. Record with over 100,000 visitors!

There are over 105,000 visitors to the 2022 edition of Milan Games Week and Cartoomics. These are the data provided directly by the organizers of the event in a press release that has just arrived in the editorial office. According to what we learn from official sources, this was the biggest edition ever for the event held annually in the Fiera Milano Rho premises.

Exceeded initial expectations for this edition. For the first time, Milan Games Week took as many as four entire pavilions of the Fair for itself. Already for ‘extension’ therefore, it was a record. Fiera Milano and Fandango Club Creators, the main bodies behind the event, for this year, that of restoring normality after the years of the pandemic, wanted to cover as many interests as possible. Milan Games Week, therefore, was not only videogames but also comics, anime, board games and much more.

However, the main soul remains the videogames which occupied 50% of the space made available for the three-day review. More than 5 thousand square meters have been wholly dedicated to the gaming with hundreds of gaming stations: between Nintendo, Sony Interactive Entertainment Italy (PlayStation), Bandai Namco Entertainment and the Gaming Zone Powered by GameStop.
