Announced at the beginning of the current year, Take-Two Interactive’s acquisition of Zynga has been successfully completed just in these last hours. It was the company directed by Strauss Zelnick who gave the news in a statement he has declared: “We are pleased to have completed the transaction with Zynga, a very important step to exponentially increase our competitiveness in the mobile sector.“
Take-Two Interactive shelled out a whopping $ 12.7 billion to buy Zynga. This is the second most expensive acquisition in the video game industry after that not yet finalized of Activision Blizzard by Microsoftwhere the latter will pay a whopping 68.7 billion.
