The shooting of the film dedicated to Gran turismo has started. Sony Pictures announces it with a photo shared on Twitter. The subject of the shot is the “first take” in the background of which it is already possible to glimpse a car and a racing track, a sign that one begins immediately with the most adrenaline-pumping sequences.
In recent months and weeks we have already discovered a good number of the cast members who will interpret the – true – story of Jann Mardenborough. He is the winner of one of the editions of the GT Academy organized by Polyphony Digital and Sony Interactive Entertainment between 2008 and 2016. After proving to be a digital driver, Madernborough also had to put his skills to use on a real track.
The director, as also explained in other articles, will be Neil Bloklamp who boasts films of the caliber of District 9 and Elysium in his CV. Accompanying him on the set David Arbor (Stranger Things) as the mentor of the protagonist, Geri Halliwell and Djimon Hounsou will appear as Jann’s parents. By the way, he’ll think about playing it
