Rogue Trader, let’s see the second dev diary

Several months have passed since the publication of the Warhammer 40,000 first dev diary: Rogue Traderwhich is why the developers of Owlcat Games have just released one a second.

This development video diary is mainly dedicated to presentation of the setting on which this RPG is based and the explanation of the profession of the protagonist. In Rogue Trader we will take on the role of a character with a special imperial permit that allows him to travel freely throughout the galaxy, trade with any faction he meets (even with aliens), establish colonies on remote planets, and expand the dominion of the Emperor.

In the video game we will find ourselves at cross the Koronus Expanse, an area of the galaxy on the outer fringes of the Imperium where the light of the Emperor has become increasingly dim. Therefore it will be our task to reconquer the systems present in this area and discover the ruins of ancient civilizations. Be careful though, as not only will we be dealing with alien dangers, but also with the forces of Chaos that will try in every way to put a spoke in our wheels. In this regard, the developers suggest that we will be able to interact with the Pernicious Powers in some way, perhaps accepting their gifts (and corruption)?

We’ll only find out soon, when Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will appear on our PCs.
