He passed away in his sleep a few hours ago while traveling in the Dominican Republic. Ray Liotta passed away at 67. The wedding with his partner Jacy Nittolo was planned in the coming months. The news first bounced among the various US media and then reached us.
An endless filmography that of Ray Liotta that many remember for his interpretation of Henry Hill in Goodfellas (Those Good Boys). Liotta, however, has starred in about 90 films at the Cinema as well as boasting several television appearances. In Goodfellas he found himself alongside giants of cinematic history such as Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Paul Sorvino. A stellar cast masterfully led by Martin Scorsese.
Among other films, we can remember Ray Liotta in Hannibal (Ridley Scott, 2001) where, in the film starring Anthony Hopkins, he plays Clarice’s boss Paul Krendler. In 2002 he made his debut in the world of video games by lending his voice to one of the most famous protagonists of the Grand Theft Auto brand. Ray Liotta, in fact, played Tommy Vercetti in GTA Vice City. Among the most recent films in which he participated, we can remember Sin City – A woman to kill for (Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, 2014) e The many saints of New Jersey (Alan Taylor, 2021). In the film, which is the prequel to the television series The Sopranos, Liotta plays the double roles of Hollywood “Dick” Moltisanti and Salvatore “Sally Moltisanti.
