Pre-orders of the new PlayStation 5 virtual reality viewer are open from GameStop

And finally the day has come. From this morning PlayStation VR 2 headset pre-orders are officially open at GameStop (or abbreviated PSVR2) dedicated to PlayStation 5.

This viewer has some really interesting technical specifications, starting from OLED display and then the integration of the same haptic feedback technology of the DualSense controllers. And recently Sony has also revealed prices and release date.

PlayStation VR2, for PlayStation 5, will be available starting February 22, 2023 with a decent launch lineup driven by Horizon Call of the Mountain and Resident Evil Village VR. More recently expanded with many other projects that should bring the number of games available at launch to over 20. We have to let you know that PSVR2 will not be backwards compatible with games currently released on PS4. But many teams are already working to propose new versions of their games.


There are two versions of the viewer available. a so called ‘smooth‘, or only with the viewer, and a second one bundled with Horizon Call of the Mountain. Both versions include VR headset and controller, while the optional charging base will be sold separately in both cases. Here are the links to book the viewer:
