Police arrest 7 teenagers suspected of hacking Nvidia, Microsoft, and Samsung

Earlier, journalists claimed that the actions of the Lapsus $ hacker group were led by a 16-year-old teenager living with his mother.

London police have reported the arrest of seven teenagers aged 16 to 21 suspected of having links with the Lapsus$ hacker group, which managed to steal tens of gigabytes of valuable information from the largest technology companies in a few weeks. Nvidia, Microsoft, Samsung, and Vodafone suffered from their actions.

16-year-old teenager from Oxford

According to some information, the group was led by a 16-year-old teenager from Oxford, who lives with his mother. He allegedly managed to earn about 14 million US dollars from hacks. Whether he was also detained, the BBC could not find out.

All suspects have now been released pending investigation.
