Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: at 60fps, but thanks to a fanmade mod

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the two standard bearers of the new generation of Game Freak games are gathering quite conflicting opinions. The main complaints concern the technical aspects of the two titles that many define as below expectations. According to users, the two games, in addition to meager environments and bugs of various kinds, they wouldn’t be able to maintain a stable 30fps fluidity, regardless of the use of the Nintendo Switch’s docked mode. Issues for which Nintendo claims to have received no official reports. At least on fluidity, however, the community has activated and a modder made a ‘patch’ unofficial.

A player, named theboy181 on Twitter, allegedly made a patch that brings the game’s framerate to a fixed 60fpsthe. As evidence of the work done, he also posted a video on his profile. By seeing this short video, many fans would have been impressed. One of them was the famous leaker PoryLeaks who talked about theboy181 as the next developer of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet remaster. Another called on developer Game Freak to hire fans to work on their titles.

Despite this, 10 million copies of the two versions were sold worldwide in just a few days, the best debut ever for Nintendo. Demonstrating how the game was still quite successful.
