PlayStation loses another exclusive title to Xbox

Xbox players may soon be able to look forward to a hugely popular title previously only available on PlayStation and PC, including last year’s award for Best Independent Title.

We’re talking about Stray by developer Blue Twelve Studios and Anapurna Interactive, owned by the American ESRB for Series X/S and Xbox One. The announcement for the Microsoft console should only be a matter of time.

Stray originally appeared in July 2022 and was available as a Day One release on PlayStation Plus. All around, the feline adventure captured the hearts of players, who explored a crumbling city in the paws of a stubborn feline to solve an ancient mystery.

Curious Twitter trend followed

Not only gamers were huge fans of Stray, even the animal companions themselves were apparently taken with the game. This developed into a curious trend on Twitter, with gamers showing how excited cats were when playing Stray watched.

meanwhile is Stray not only available digitally, a physical version finally rounded off the release on PS5. In addition to the game, the limited disc version included six colored art cards, which are also included in the iam8bit Limited Edition. You can also look forward to the following extras:

  • Premium case in matte black with Holofoil Spécialité
  • Oversized poster of the iconic first teaser image for Stray. Format: 36.6 x 62 cm!
  • Six (6) premium art cards ready to be framed
  • PLUS a cozy chenille patch of – you guessed it – our heroic cat
Stray Limited Edition

Soundtrack fans have also been thought of with a vinyl collection Stray were considered, which came in a futuristic premium package. The special features also included:

  • Gatefold Jacket Housed in an Elegant Slipcase with Holofoil Spécialité
  • Music by Yann Van Der Cruyssen
  • Album Art by Fernando Correa
  • Includes Steam Soundtrack Download Card

Xbox players who can probably only prepare for a digital release will certainly not be so widely courted.
