Modern Warfare 2, the new video compares the PS5, Xbox Series X, Series S and PC versions

The now famous YouTube channel El Analista de Bits wasted no time and immediately posted a new video comparison of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2dedicated in this specific case to beta on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and finally PC of the highly anticipated title of Infinity Wardcoming to market on October 28, 2022.

PS5:

Xbox X series:

  • 2160p / 60fps with reconstruction rendering
  • 1440p / 120fps with reconstruction rendering

Xbox S series:

  • 1080p / 120fps with reconstruction rendering

PC:

  • 2160p | Maximum settings | RTX 3080

El Analista de Bits then revealed how Modern Warfare 2 use a horizontal dynamic resolution with temporal reconstruction on console, which is very common for the various chapters belonging to the series of call of Duty.

Also for the first time it is possible to change the FOV on all platforms, including legacy consoles, up to 120. The YouTuber however decided to set it to 90 on all versions use in this new comparison video.

The movie in question then reveals how the version PS5 currently presents some problems with shadows in 120Hz mode while instead Xbox Series X offers better performance in invasion mode a 120 Hz as compared to PS5 and Xbox Series S. The game is compatible with the DLSS 2.0 on PCand if enabled, an improvement of approx 40 fps.

The version PC from Modern Warfare 2 instead it presents improvements in the shadows, in the ambient occlusion, in the anisotropic filter and in some textures. However, the visual distance on some assets is shorter on PC in this beta.
