Logitech: G PRO X 2 Lightspeed – new gaming headset presented

Logitech has made itself a little scarce in the last few months, but is finally announcing a new product for gamers with the G PRO X 2 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset.

The Logitech G PRO X 2 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset is designed to appeal primarily to e-athletes and ambitious gamers and was developed in cooperation with various e-athletes. The most important building blocks are the new Graphene audio drivers.

The new drivers have been precision engineered with a 50mm Graphene diaphragm and Live Edge suspension to create an immersive soundscape. The new driver should improve the accuracy of the sound reproduction, reduce distortion and also reduce the signal time. Compared to the previous PRO X Wireless Headset, the PRO X 2 offers even more improvements (manufacturer information):

  • Reliable Connections – Thanks to improved connection via Bluetooth, LIGHTSPEED and cable (3.5 mm AUX), gamers* are prepared for every situation. LIGHTSPEED offers a PRO-quality wireless connection that lasts up to 50 hours on a single charge and reaches a distance of 30 meters.

  • Award-winning PRO design – Developed for and in collaboration with professional gamers, the PRO X 2 features a durable yet lightweight aluminum and steel chassis. Thanks to a rotating, robust hinge and interchangeable ear pads made of leatherette and velour, the headset also offers maximum comfort.

  • Communicate clearly – The 6 mm microphone on a detachable bracket impresses with its cardioid characteristic. The advanced Blue VO!CE software can be used via the G HUB and ensures clear and consistent communication.

  • DTS Headphone:X 2.0 Surround Sound – Precise surround sound helps gamers locate their opponents before they spot them.

The PRO X 2 Lightspeed wireless gaming headset is now available LogitechG.com as well as from selected dealers at a recommended retail price of 269 euros.
