The Spider-Man of Insomniac seems to have started a process that promises many original, and expected, Marvel games, let’s see them together!

Marvel has now had a well underway success, destined to persist for a long time: the legendary company is there most famous cartoon house of all time, while theMCU is giving birth to a franchise which is yielding mind-boggling revenues.

Now, instead, it aims to emulate the same in space videogame. The plan actually became concrete with the launch of Spider-Man PS4 in 2018, a chapter he saw Spider-Man: Miles Morales to follow him and Guardians of the Galaxy later still.

As the company continues to look for a solid foundation for gaming, we’ve compiled a list of all Marvel games incoming, focusing mainly on titles officially announced.

Marvel Snap

The company recently announced Marvel Snapa collectible card game free-to-play coming to PC and mobile during this year’s course.

Marvel Snap was made by numerous minds who are already known to have worked on Hearthstoneeven the ex director Ben Brode. They have already been presented well 150 Marvel heroes and villains (Captain America, Shang-chi, Scarlet Witch, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Venom and many more). The fights are played with 12 cards and the turns take place simultaneously, bringing the maximum duration of a match to three minutes. It was also confirmed that not you will need to spend money to get additional cards – these will be released with each season, but will still be purchasable. In short, Marvel Snap seems to present itself as one of the most interesting among the Marvel games announced.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns

Two legends in their fields, Marvel And Firaxis Gameshave come together to develop a RPG-card battler called Midnight Suns.

Based on the story of the Marvel comic “Midnight Sons“, The game will feature characters from the Avengers (Iron Man, Captain America), of the X-Men (Wolverine, Magik), but also other well-known faces such as Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Ghost Rider and Blade. Creative Director Jake Solomon says the all-new card mechanic introduced in the game is meant to add a level of customization and randomness to combat that has never been seen before in a Firaxis game.

Looking at the component instead RPG of the title, players will be able to spend some time at the base calls “Abbey“, where is the Soccer player (customizable character) can forge relationships with other heroes, thus gaining the ability to unlock costumes and skills.

Insomniac is working on the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2018after the great success of the title, continuing the story of Peter Parker And Miles Morales. It will be released indicatively in 2023, as a PS5 exclusive.

Venom will look like the main villain of the game, as seen in the trailer. New to the writing team is Brittney Morris, proponent of the prequel novel by Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales: Wings of Fury.

Marvel’s Wolverine

Insomniac is developing another exclusive for PS5, featuring the long-awaited game of Wolverinecoming out after Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. We know very little about the game from the trailer, which only shows the protagonist sitting at a bar, being approached by a man armed with a knife: we see Logan pulling out his claws, seconds before the end of the movie.

Insomniac also informs about one of the reasons why Wolverine’s character seems to bear some resemblance to Spider-Man: “Both heroes defend people who aren’t skilled at doing it on their own,” replies Ryan Schneider.

Wolverine is part of the Marvel Insomniac Universe, which began in 2018 with Spider-Man.

Amy Hennig’s Marvel Game

Definitely the project more mysteriousin development by a new studio headed by the writer-director of Uncharted: Amy Hennig. The project is described as “completely original on the narrative side”, confirming that everything will be set in theMarvel universe. The writing team also includes Marc Bernardin, who is best known for the credits of some very popular TV series.

Janina Gavanker (Battlefront 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Forspoken) has announced that he is part of the crew working on the project, although we still don’t have details on his role.
