James Gunn says that future DC games will share the universe with the series and movies in News › Briefs

November 28, 2022 Ellie Irwin News, Reviews 0

James Gunn, the head of the DC Universe along with Peter Safran, has confirmed via Twitter that future DC games will be connected to the series and movies. Gunn has only answered “yes” to the question of whether the games would be part of the same universe as the series and movies, so we don’t have any further details at this time.

The direction that DC has taken is different from that of Marvel, whose games may or may not be connected to the series and movies. “We don’t want to say to a studio ‘you can’t fly the moon because this game from another team needs it.” said Bill Rosemann, creative director of Marvel Games, in an interview published in GamesIndustry last september.
