The Spy x Family anime adaptation is enjoying huge success in Japan. To reveal it is the TV portal Fandom Lounge. The plot centers on Twilight, one of the best secret agents in the world. With peace at stake, Twilight is called upon to take on a mission like no other before. He will have to go undercover, under the name of Loid, pretending to be a great family man and trying to infiltrate an elite school to get closer to a high-profile politician.
Clearly, to keep his cover intact, he’ll have to start a family. This is made up of his wife, Yor, a very dangerous killer both of whom are unaware of their true identities, and his daughter, Anya, a child who can read minds. The latter, in fact, is the only one who knows the true identities of Loid and Yor. Together they form the Forger family. Thanks to this premise, Spy x Family has become the most viewed anime since its airing.
Since its debut, the anime averaged around 7 million viewers in the first 5 episodes. The show, according to what has been revealed, has been successful mainly among people between the ages of 18 and 59. The data also says that around 4.5 million families watch the show every week. A result that has led it to be also the most watched program ever currently in the land of the Rising Sun.. A result that will please both the Wit studio and CloverWorks.
It’s also great news for manga creator Tatsuya Endo, as the print part is still ongoing. The success of the television adaptation could result in an increase in sales of the manga.
In short, Spy x Family still has a long way to go. Will it still be able to maintain this positive trend? Only time will tell! What do you think of it? Tell us in the comments! In the meantime, we remind you that Netflix’s One Piece TV series has found a face for Shanks.
