TI10 China Regional Qualifier: How To Watch, Schedule, Teams & More

Dota 2 International (TI10) China qualifiers kick off on July 3 and here’s what you need to know, including which teams are playing and where to watch the matches.

The Dota 2 International 10 (TI10) Chinese Qualifiers represent the approach to the prestigious main event and group stage of TI10. Following the conclusion of this week’s China and Western Europe (EU West) qualifiers, the eighteen teams that will compete for the massive $40 million prize pool will be revealed.

The China Qualifiers will host fierce competition and be the proving ground for all teams, especially former TI competitors EHOME, CDEC and Royal Never Give Up. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the China Qualifying games this week.

TI10: China Qualifiers – Schedule and Format

The TI10 China Qualifier matches will take place in conjunction with the EU West Qualifiers, from July 7-10.

If you want to watch the matches, you will have to survive the graveyard change as the first match will start at 00:00 GMT+2. The last match of each day will kick off at 09:00 GMT+2, before the EU West Qualifiers scheduled for 11:00 GMT+2.

As with previous regional playoffs, all playoff matches will be played online in a double-elimination bracket format as BO3. In BO5 only the Grand Final matches will be played.

The team that wins the China Qualifiers will take the wild card spot for the region and play in the group stage of TI10, along with the twelve directly invited professional teams. The playoff bracket is shown below and the rankings are based on the current Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) rankings, assuming no further penalties.

Competing teams will include teams that were not eligible for a direct invite by placing in the top 12 of the DPC Leaderboard in Season 2. There are a total of 10 teams competing in TI this year, including:

How to watch the China ranking for TI10

Fans will be able to watch all TI10 regional qualifier matches for free from the Dota 2 game client. The Chinese qualifier will also be streamed on the Beyond The Summit Twitch channel.
