A quick look at one of Remedy Entertainment’s latest financial reports gives us a glimpse of the games that the software house will publish in the future as well as Alan Wake 2. We already know that, together with Rockstar Games, among the studios they are working on the remake of Max. Payne and Max Payne 2. We also talk about Control and its sequel. On the contrary, the games set in the same universe as Control are even 2. On the one hand we have “Condor”(Codename), which is supposed to be cooperative PvE multiplayer. On the other hand we have “Project Heron”(Code name also this), a title of which the details are scarce. According to what is reported in the report, the latter is the direct follow-up to Control.
Don’t forget too of the return of Alan Wake with Alan Wake 2. The sequel to the much-loved title announced during The Game Awards is expected on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S and PC. The game is expected to arrive in 2023, barring complications. In the report no particular information is given in this regard. However, the latter inform us that development is already well underway, which is encouraging.
Among the other titles in development there is one with a particular code name: Vanguard. The name is very similar to that of Call of Duty: Vanguard, but judging by the description we will be faced with a co-op multiplayer that will be published by Tencent. Both Vanguard and Condor are currently still in the very early stages of development. In particular, the state is still “proof of concept” or verification of the ideas proposed.
In short, the meat on the fire is a lot. It’s up to Remedy Entertainment to cook it to perfection. We ask ourselves, which of these projects intrigues you the most? Those related to Control, the sequel to Alan Wake or this elusive “Vanguard”?
