Warner Bros has just released a very short but interesting new trailer that shows us Hogwarts Legacy in its next-gen version (more properly, the PlayStation 5 version). The images, a minute in all, are not exactly unpublished but still sufficient to make us breathe an air of magic.
The video presents some of the exclusive features of Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 5. The first element shot in the foreground before our eyes could only be the graphics rendering fixed at an ambitious native 4K. Dual Sense will also play its part. The haptic controller, as well as making us feel the pleasure of holding the wand in our hands – have you thought of a double meaning? Then it’s you – it will light up with the typical colors of our home. Red for Gryffindor, green for Slytherin, blue for Ravenclaw and yellow for Hufflepuff.
As mentioned, however, it will be the haptic feedback that will dominate. The video promises us that we will experience all, absolutely all, the typical sensations of the magical world of Harry Potter. Spells, flying on the back of hippogriffs, the sliding of carts in the meanders of the Gringotts. With adaptive triggers, however, we will feel the difficulty in producing the different spells: Repelo, Expelliarmus, Stupeficium etc. The icing on the cake is the compartment Dolby 3D audio which, through headphones, in the same way, promises to transport us between the corridors of the castle, the streets of Hogsmeade and all the various locations with the ears (as well as with the heart).
Hogwarts Legacy is expected in the holiday period 2022. The game is developed by Avalanche Studios and produced by Warner Bros.
