With an official launch trailer, Square Enix has announced the opening date for pre-orders of the Final Fantasy VII prequel, i.e. Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, the remastered version of the original game released on the PSP over a decade ago. In the video, available below, there are also some images of the game.
Starting November 29, 2022, digital pre-orders of Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion are therefore available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC. Pre-order gives you access to the SOLDIER material set, i.e. the Dark Ignis, Dark Crio, and Dark Fulgor materials, which are available right from the start of the game. These elements also allow you to make attacks that can apply effects such as “Poison” and “Silence”.
It didn’t end there though. Square Enix has announced that a Digital Deluxe Edition of Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is available. Together with the game, this version includes the renewed soundtrack and the exclusive collection with various illustrations.
Meanwhile, Final Fantasy 16 has returned to be seen in a completely unexpected way with the trailer Ambition. New Final Fantasy-themed Magic trading cards would also be arriving in 2024.
