The developer KO_OP has announced that the cinematic adventure Goodbye Volcano High will be available in summer 2023 and not in 2022 as planned. This is the second time the title has changed its release window. In 2021 the game was delayed by a narrative reboot and challenges related to remote work due to the pandemic.
On this occasion, KO_OP maintains that the delay of Goodbye Volcano High is due to the fact that the development team is small and the game is ambitious, so they need more time to deliver the best possible work. When available, Goodbye Volcano High will be offered as a version for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
