Elden Ring player pretended to be an NPC to escape another gamer's invasion

A player in Elden Ring disguised himself as an NPC to trick a gamer into invading his world. He shared a video demonstrating the trick on Reddit.

To begin with, the user under the nickname xdc_lis dressed his hero so that he looked like one of the NPCs. He then killed that NPC and took his place on the road. When another gamer invaded his world, xdc_lis just slowly walked down the NPC’s route. The enemy ran past his target several times but did not notice the catch. In the end, not finding a player, he just left.

Elden Ring was released on the night of February 25th. The game is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A few hours after the release, the title was hacked and appeared in the public domain – the developers did not use additional programs, except for the standard Steam DRM protection.
