Dr Disrespect has expressed his opinion on the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 marketing campaign

With the release of Modern Warfare 2, the developers have officially revealed the first batch of artwork for the next installment of the call of Duty. The famous streamer Dr Disrespect wanted to express his opinion on these new artworks, giving a personal opinion on the product and on the marketing company of CoD. Dr. Disrespect is not only known for his successful streaming career, but also for his work as a map designer on previous games of call of Duty such as Advanced Warfare.

On May 24, players received a first taste of Modern Warfare 2 with some new artwork depicting the main characters. We also have an official release date, leaks about one version Beta and more. This has obviously sparked excitement in the Call of Duty community, especially since the game is expected to lead too Warzone 2.

Dr Disrespect talked about the marketing of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Dr Disrespect was not very happy with the management of call of Duty recently, especially with regard to the map of Caldera from Warzone. In addition to offering advice to the developers of Warzone 2expressed his opinion on Call of Duty marketing.

In response to the new reveal and the artwork by Modern Warfare 2the Doc said: “There is nothing! It’s getting to the point where marketing is saving Call of Duty. Isn’t it crazy to think so?

The streamer then continues to insinuate that the product is not up to the marketing, “as if the real product wasn’t… as if it were the marketing of it“.

From these words it seems to want to understand that Call of Duty focuses more on the marketing of their games rather than on the product itself. We know that Dr Disrespect isn’t the happiest with the franchise and the FPS genre in general, even having set up his own development studio to make the changes and experience he’d like.

We remember that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
