NDAs appear to have a very ethereal meaning for the good Norman Reedus. Already a few months ago, the actor who lends his features to Sam Porter Bridges had hinted at ongoing negotiations regarding the development of Death Stranding 2; and in a recent interview for Leoconfirmed that development work on this sequel has just begun. Norman Reedus also explained how he first came in contact with Hideo Kojima, at the time of the famous Playable Teaser for a Silent Hill project that never took place:
“Guillermo del Toro, who gave me my first movie, called me and said, ‘Hey, there’s this guy named Hideo Kojima, he’s going to call you, say yes.’ And I said, ‘In what sense do you say yes?’, And he, ‘Stop being an idiot, tell him yes’. ” Kojima would later show Reedus videos of his Silent Hill, immediately capturing the actor’s interest. We can’t wait to see him return to the scene in Death Stranding 2.
