It can continue to be slaughtered. Dambuster and Plaion have the further DLC plans and the roadmap for Dead Island 2 presented. That includes two gory expansions, even more zombies, and even more ways to unleash your rush.
Initially, two expansions are planned that will bring brand new missions, weapons, skills and areas. The first is called House, which will answer the question of how a billionaire prepares for the Zompokalypse? Namely with a techno death cult and a good portion of debauchery and blood. The release of House is planned for the 4th quarter of 2023.
The second expansion takes players to the SOLA festival, where LA partygoers can greenwash their way into ecstasy and save the planet with rave after rave. So typically LA! The SOLA Festival will take place in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
