The author of the mod, available on the NexusMods siteis that XilaMonstrrwho created a face pack in 4K resolution in Cyberpunk 2077. Taking advantage of artificial intelligence, this mod, aptly named “High Res Player Faces – Upscaled Textures”upscales the faces of the characters making them even more defined.
High resolution textures for PNG and character skins, male and femalereads the description of the mod. The original resolution was mostly 1K. I did a four times upscaling using chaiNNer and ESRGAN models to max 4K. A 2K option is available if you’re concerned about vRAM.
The mod is available for free and can therefore be downloaded and applied to the controversial game CD Project Red to make it even better, effectively quadrupling the resolution of faces. In addition to the official update that introduced support for the technology FSR 2.1this mod represents a big step forward for those who are attentive to the graphics sector.
