Bandai Namco has confirmed that Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R has a release date, and it’s really close! The long-awaited and, as Namco herself defines it, elegant fighting game is in fact expected on PC on 1 September 2022 and on consoles the day after. In addition to this, the team also unveiled the Digital Deluxxe Edition and the Collector’s Edition, as well as confirming that a pre-launch demo will arrive.
The official statement reads: “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R, the elegant fighting game based on the famous anime with a huge roster of truly memorable characters, will be available from 1 September 2022 for Windows PC and from 2 September 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. A new trailer features four new characters from the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Robert EO Speedwagon, Mariah, Pet Shop And Diego Brandowhich will make their absolute debut in the game ”.
“It is now possible to pre-order the game for all platforms except the Nintendo Switch version in the Nintendo eShop. More details on pre-ordering the digital version for Nintendo Switch will be available later. All players who pre-order will get a bonus Green Dolphin Street State Prison Jacket costume for Jolyne Cujoh “.
The contents of the two special editions, namely the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Collector’s Edition, are as follows:
- Digital Deluxe Edition: includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle Ra Animation Special Event Color Set for the following characters: Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo, Josuke Higashikata, Giorno Giovanna, and the Season Pass. The Season Pass grants four new playable characters, two exclusive costumes for Rohan Kishibe and Mohammed Avdol’s Father?, As well as two days of early access to all Season Pass characters.
- Collector’s Edition: includes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle Rand all the contents of the Digital Deluxe Editionin addition to one exclusive figurine Grandista series Jolyne Cujoh – Special Color Ver. and a reproduction of the Jolyne’s prisoner tag.
The release date of the Demo has not yet been revealed, but Namco has made it clear that it will be a rather close release. This demo will allow players to experience two modes: training and online PvP. It will unfortunately only be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, at least for the moment.
