The developer claims that he was able to completely bypass the NVIDIA mining limiter

When NVIDIA announced the LHR mining performance limiter, the company hoped that GeForce series graphics cards would no longer be used for cryptocurrency mining. Shortly after the release of solutions with LHR, applications began to appear on the network that partially bypassed this limit, but now a Polish developer named Sergey claims that he was able to make an application that allows you to completely bypass LHR and expose users to 100% of the power of the video card for mining.

This application was discovered by colleagues from MeDrivers and Videocardz. It is claimed that it is able to modify the BIOS of LHR video cards, removing the mining limiter. Along with this, however, it is also necessary to install a hacked graphics driver, but this operation can also be performed automatically. The developer promises that in this way NVIDIA Ampere video cards will be able to mine:

RTX 3080 TiUp to 115 MN / s
RTX 3080 LHRUp to 100 MH / s
RTX 3070 TiUp to 69 MH / s
RTX 3070 LHRUp to 57 MH / s
RTX 3060 Ti LHRUp to 61 MH / s
RTX 3060 LHR V2Up to 49 MH / s
RTX A5000Up to 110 MH / s
RTX A4500Not measured
RTX A4000Up to 67 MH / s
RTX A2000Up to 46 MH / s

It is not yet known whether the program really works as Sergei promises, but the situation is not the most pleasant. A full release of the utility is scheduled for February 26 this year. It is also worth noting that with the current prices for video cards and the rate of cryptocurrencies, it will take almost 500 days to beat off the conditional RTX 3080 Ti even at full power, and therefore mining is still not the most profitable activity.
